Daevilmedia is independently operated by Phil Battye as a sole trader in the United Kingdom.
Daevilmedia is not a registered charity.
1. Voluntary contributions
Any money contributed through the Daevilmedia website is given voluntarily to support the running, development and activities of Daevilmedia.
Contributions may be used towards costs such as:
- website hosting and infrastructure
- software and online services
- equipment
- content production
- research
- operational costs
- development of child-safety resources and related projects
A contribution does not create any ownership, membership or entitlement to services.
2. Payment processing
Daevilmedia currently uses Revolut to receive voluntary contributions.
Payments are processed through Revolut and are also subject to Revolut’s own terms, privacy policy and payment-processing arrangements.
Daevilmedia does not directly store your full payment-card details.
3. Not a charitable donation
Because Daevilmedia is not a registered charity, contributions should not be treated as charitable donations for tax or Gift Aid purposes.
No charitable tax relief or Gift Aid is available through Daevilmedia unless this changes in the future.
4. Refunds
Contributions are normally voluntary and non-refundable once completed.
However, if you believe a payment was made:
- accidentally
- more than once
- for the wrong amount
- without your authorisation
contact Daevilmedia as soon as reasonably possible.
Refund requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
5. No influence over editorial content
Making a contribution does not give a contributor control over:
- editorial decisions
- investigations
- political opinions
- published content
- safeguarding decisions
- who or what Daevilmedia reports on
Contributions do not buy favourable coverage or influence.
6. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated if Daevilmedia changes how contributions are accepted or used.
